Every year for since forever, I’ve privately come up with a theme for myself for the year.

This year my theme is “Best year ever” which is why the blog is called that.  Not because it will be just because I say it, but because I can make it that way if I work at it, and more importantly, if I look at it that way.  I choose how things look to me.  A flat tire could be a bummer, or I could choose to see it as a nice rest while I fix it, or an excuse to buy a shiny new Michelin.  It’s all in how you choose to see it. 

So 2008 was the best year ever.

That’s what I’ll find myself saying December 31, 2008.
